Interfaith Housing Services (IHS) is a faith-based organization which unites denominations, civic organizations, social groups, businesses, and individuals to diligently create safe, accessible and quality housing services available everyone.

Interfaith Housing Services shall develop, promote and implement programs which assist persons of low to moderate incomes to meet their housing needs.

IHS has an excellent reputation for helping people in the community with housing needs. Over the last 16 years we have:
*ASSISTED over 500 homeowners in Reno County, whose income was less than $8,000 per year, to keep their homes livable.
*PROVIDES 57 safe, and affordable rental units housing 59 people with disabilities and 9 single parents along with their 25 children.
*HELPED 34 first time home buyers acquire a home.
We are proud to announce IHS becomes for the first time a United Way Partner Agency in 2008!

The Hutchinson Builders Association together with Interfaith Housing Services is proud to announce the first Housing With A Heart project in Reno County. Thirty-one local contractors and area vendors have already committed, time, energy, expertise and materials to build a home for Penny Dodge and her two sons. Interfaith Housing Services is raising $25,000 for the projet and coordinating volunteers to work with the professional contractors.
